We are currently undergoing renovation work on the 2nd floor of our Universitat building which was scheduled to be finished by May 1st. However, there have been some delays and we will still be completing some details in May.
Work will only be done Monday to Saturday inclusive from 9am to 6pm and in case you are affected by noise disturbances caused by the work being done in our building we will offer a 25% refund on the affected dates.

*This excludes Marimon, Enric Granados and Urgell apartments, which are located in different buildings. 

 

Prepayment

For our "Best Rate", we require a prepayment of 30% of the total rental sum (excl. extras) upon confirmation of the booking. This amount will be charged to the provided credit card.

For our "Last Minute - Non Refundable Rate", a prepayment of 100% of the total rental sum (excl. extras) is required upon confirmation of the booking. Please note that this is a non-refundable rate and therefore bookings made under these conditions, can not be changed, modified or cancelled.

 

Additional costs

Fee for final cleaning: 66 euros

For a 1 night stay the fee for final cleaning is reduced to 33 euros

Local city tourist tax: 2,48 euros per person per night (will be charged upon arrival over a maximum of 7 nights). 

Late check-in fee: 30 euros for check-ins between 21.00 and 24.00 and 50 euros for check-ins after midnight.

Baby cots (per night): 7 euros (children aged 2 and younger stay for free, if a cot is not required).

For some apartments we can provide an extra single bed at 35 euros per night.

Please note that the city tourist tax and the late check-in fee are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately upon check-in.

Daily apartment cleaning is available at an additional cost.

For 1 week stays or longer we offer one complimentary cleaning

 

Check-in / Checkout details:

A member of our team will meet you at the apartment for check-in. Please note that although DestinationBCN offer a round-the-clock service, we do not have a reception area. It is therefore important that you provide us with your arrival details at the airport (including flight number if applicable), train station or port so that we can coordinate our team accordingly.

Airport arrivals: Call us once you have collected your luggage

Train arrivals: Call us call from the train station, upon arrival

Port arrivals: Call us from the port once you have disembarked

By car: Provide an estimated arrival time and call us when you are 1 hour away from the apartment

In case we have other guests checking out on your departure day, the apartment will be cleaned and prepared for you in the morning and is ready to check-in around 14.00 (or earlier in case of an early morning check-out). You can store your luggage in our offices from 08.30 AM if necessary.

In case we don't have other guests checking out on your arrival day, we will have the apartment cleaned and prepared for you the day prior to your arrival and you can check-in from 08.30 AM 

 

Our general check out time is 10.00, however we can be flexible in the event that we don’t have a same day arrival. In case we are unable to provide a late chack-out, you are welcome to store luggage with us.

 

House rules and conditions

DestinationBCN apartments are aimed at couples, business travellers, solo travellers and families. If you don't fit this description please contact us by email, as we want to make sure you enjoy your stay and that we meet your expectations.

Guests are not permitted to host parties in the apartment or in the adjacent communal areas.

No music can be played after 10:00 PM. In the event of excessive noise nuisance, DestinationBCN maintains the right to evict the tenant(s) without refunding the rental fee.

Normally checkout time is 10:00 AM. If no new guests are expected to arrive on the same day, we can arrange a more convenient time for check out. In any case, you are welcome to store your luggage in our office untill you will have to go to the airport.

The tenant is obliged to leave the apartment on the time agreed upon. When breaching the agreement the tenant is liable to a fine of 350 euros per day.

On departure, the apartment should be in a generally clean condition. Damages done to the apartment's contents as a result of deliberate, criminal or reckless behavior, such as breakages, leaving the apartment in an especially dirty condition or accidental damage, will be forfeited to the client. The amount shall be established by determining the replacement value of each object so it can be returned to the exact state it was in before the incident occurred. DestinationBCN reserves the right to charge the credit card submitted to cover the damage caused.

Pets are not allowed.
